Get to know Lee Ann...
Through Lee Ann Weinberg and Associates, Lee Ann leverages over 20 years of experience as a hospital administrator, executive director, chief development officer, and consultant.
At age 42 and mid-pandemic, Lee Ann was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, interrupting life as a mom with three children under age 5 and work as the Chief Development Officer of Volunteers of America Mid-States.
Now four years in remission, she continues to build her consulting firm, enjoy her family, and focus on meaningful work and joyful living. She brings a unique perspective from her background in for-profit startups, health care, and non-profit leadership. Lee Ann focuses on building organizations and cultures of well-being AND financial success, aiming for long-term sustainability.
Given her 10 years spent growing outpatient hospital and healthcare operations, Lee Ann urges organizations to fundraise, operate, and govern with a strong orientation to clearly defined processes. But it isn't all just process; Lee Ann advocates for people-centered development based on genuine relationships and shared values.
This perspective has lead Lee Ann to a natural fit, working with arts and culture organizations like Actors Theatre of Louisville, Appalachian Arts Alliance, City Music Cleveland, and Appalachian Big Ideas Festival on strategy, fund, and program development. It has also lead to aligning with Invest Appalachia, an impact investing organization, for fund development via prospecting and writing grants focused on climate resilience and disaster recovery,
