Whitney Bishop

Whitney Bishop, Change Agent, helps nonprofit leaders and change agents spark meaningful conversations, build stronger teams, and create lasting impact. With a background in recovery coaching, change management, and facilitation, Whitney specializes in guiding people through thoughtful, engaging experiences that lead to real breakthroughs. Whitney founded Creating Positive Change to help individuals and organizations ask better questions, gain clarity, and take action with confidence.

She is a certified xchange facilitator, with deep understanding in how groups function and how to guide them to reach their goals. In her work, she encourages collaboration, co-creation, and working towards shared purpose and action.

Working together, Lee Ann and Whitney envision, create, and facilitate strategic planning retreats.

Melissa Raley, EMNA, CFRE

Fund Development


Melissa most recently served as the Director of Advancement at Bernheim Forest and Arboretum in Kentucky and previously led as the Director of Development for Louisville-based Coalition for the Homeless. She works in the non-profit consulting space and brings more than fifteen years of experience focusing largely, though not exclusively, in social and human services

She is a gentle and confident leader who specializes in fundraising strategy, major gifts, annual fund management, database management, and coalition building as well as direct mail campaigns.

As an associate of LAWA, Melissa supports projects and grants by providing additional capacity and expertise specific to campaigns and fundraising.  Lee Ann and Melissa first met more than 10 years ago when Melissa worked at the Food Literacy Project and Lee Ann served as a board member and volunteer.
